Michelin tire rebate 2013
There is almost always a Michelin tire rebate available through out the year. The company will rotate brands it offers for rebates, so if the tires you need do not have a rebate you can check in a few weeks to see if they are now offered with a new rebate. The rebates range from $40 to $80 and occasionally $100 for a set of four tires. In addition, these rebates can sometimes include other Michelin brands link BF Goodrich or Uniroyal tires. The tire manufacturer will also offer discounts and specials on their tires at Costco wholesaler and its own TCI stores.
The Michelin company is one of the largest tire manufacturer in the world and is known for producing tires for aircraft, automobiles, heavy equipment, spacecraft, motorcycles and bicycles. The French based company competes with the Bridgestone corporation for the title of worlds largest tire manufacturer. Though it originally leveraged purchases of Uniroyal rubber and BF Goodrich corporation to gain access into the North American markets, the Michelin name is now well known in its own right in the United States and Canada. In addition to selling products in North America, the company operates the TCI tire center. It is also famous for its mascot the Michelin man and for its worldwide guides of hotels an restaurants.
Michelin manufactures a wide (some commentators say too wide) assortment of tires for private passenger vehicles for almost every need. Unfortunately this large section can make it difficult for shoppers when looking for replacement tires. The most popular lines in the United States and Canada are:
- 4×4 cross country
- Agilis light truck
- Cross Terrain SUV
- Destiny all season
- Energy all season fuel efficient
- Harmony all season “quite”
- HydroEdge all season
- Latitude SUV/Crossover all season
- LTX all season truck
- Pilot performance touring
- Primacy performance touring
- Symmetry all season
- Weatherwise all season and wet/snow
- X Radial light truck/ SUV
- X-Ice winter
- XPS light truck
Most reviewers give Michelin tires positive ratings. For example, the Michelin Primacy MXV4 is a well reviewed performance tire. They say that the tires provide good traction on dry roads but has some trouble managing wet roads. The tire also manages to drive through snowy and icy conditions better than many touring tires. Though the tire can be very pricey compared to its competitors, it comes with a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty that none of its competitors match.
